Wick Selector
The size recommendations provided in our Wick Charts are meant to serve as a starting point to conduct you own burn test for your application. We cannot, and do not guarantee the wicks we suggest will work perfectly in your candle. These suggestions are based on using a paraffin single pour container wax, adjust accordingly for other waxes. Be sure to re-test your wicks whenever you make changes in your glassware, container, wax, additives or fragrance load.

Finding the right wick for your candle is the most difficult and important part of making a great candle. The majority of emails we receive ask; "which wick should I use?" There are many variables to consider in choosing the right wick. The two most important factors to be considered are; 1) the wax you use, 2) the diameter of wax the wick must burn. Other variables are; amount of fragrance load, type and quantity of candle dye used, temperature and speed of wax poured, and personal preference.
