DIRECTIONS: Spray on a soft paper towel, or for large areas spray directly on object to be cleaned. Wipe off with a dry paper towel. To remove from hands, wash with soap & water. Wax/dye remover has an oil base, which when used to clean metal molds, assists with release of the candle.

Candle Making Thermometer ~ economical glass thermometer has a metal scale completely enclosed in glass with easy-to-read numbers and graduations from 100 to 400 degrees. It is equipped with an 8’’ mercury tube, and protective sheath with candy and deep frying guidelines printed on it. Also has a convenient pan clip to hold it in place in your pour pot when in use. For best accuracy place tip of thermometer 2.5" into liquid. Do not let tip of thermometer touch bottom of pan. Hand wash.

Stearic acid, sometimes referred to as stearin, is a wax additive that increases the opacity and hardness of candles. Gives colors in dyed candles a pastel shade. Candles burn longer due to the increase of the waxes melt point, and have an improved surface. We recommend adding 2-3 tablespoons per pound of wax. For a mottled effect in your candles we recommend adding 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per pound of wax. Stearic acid can also used to thicken lotions. In bar soap, it makes for a harder, longer lasting bar, add 1 tablespoon per pound of soap.

For use in waxes with a melt point of 130°F and above
